Halo 4 release date set

Halo 4 will launch worldwide on November 6, 2012, Microsoft has announced.
The anticipated sequel marks the first chapter of a brand new Halo saga.
Set four years after the events of Halo 3, it sees Master Chief return to face an ancient evil threatening the fate of the entire universe.
In development at 343 Industries, it is the first mainline Halo to be produced outside of series creator Bungie, who left the franchise to create a new IP.
“We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences,” said Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Studios. “Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, withHalo 4 leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
Halo 4 fans should tune into TBS’s Conan tonight for something more.
The official Halo website reads: “Whether you like redheads, Irishmen, or slumbering Spartan super-soldiers, you should tune in to the popular late night program Conantonight at 11 p.m. Pacific Standard Time to find out how Conan O’Brien and his side-kick Andy Richter are connected to Master Chief and Halo 4 in a segment that features our very own Frank O’Connor and Kiki Wolfkill. “
