The Samsung Galaxy Pocket has been approved by the FCC. It means that this Android phone will be launched in the U.S. market very soon. The Galaxy Pocket features a small 2.8-inch display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, an 832MHz processor, a 3GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2-megapixel rear-facing digital camera. The handset runs on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Samsung’s own TouchWiz user interface. The Samsung Galaxy Pocket supports GSM 850/1900 and UMTS Band V radios. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing at this time. [Ubergizmo]
