Olympus M.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 Micro Four Thirds Lens

Heads up photographers, if a portrait lens with a fixed aperture sounds like a lens you’ve been looking for, Olympus has officially taken the wraps off their new lens – the M.Zuiko Digital ED 75mm Micro Four Thirds lens with an aperture of f/1.8 which should allow for quick shots to be grabbed even in low-light conditions. The lens will feature a full-metal housing and will also come with a manual focus ring in the center that will give photographers the option of manually focusing in certain situations.
On top of that, the lens will also come with Extra-low Reflection Optical coating which apparently will help against ghosting and flare effects when shooting in bright light conditions. Other features such as circular bokeh, high-speed and silent autofocusing have also been promised, which we guess is expected for a lens that will cost photographers a whopping £799 (~$1,255). If the Olympus M.Zuiko 75mm f/1.8 Micro Four Thirds lens sounds like it could be a great addition to your lineup, you can expect to pick it up this July.
